Redwine Extract / Grape Seed Extract
Red wine and grape seed extracts are antioxidants and supply proanthocyanidins and anthocyanins, which are important in neutralizing free radicals. They also protect vitamins E and C from depletion by forming an electron-sharing circuit.

Proanthocyanidins are bioflavonoids which have demonstrated antioxidant properties. They are thought to protect connective tissue, thereby helping to improve and preserve the elasticity of skin by stabilizing collagen and elastin. Proanthocyanidins also play a role in maintaining elasticity of capillaries in the dermis, helping to maintain healthy blood flow and minimizing the appearance of spider veins in the skin.

Bilberry extract is another natural antioxidant. It provides a major source of anthocyanins and protects vitamins E and C from depletion by forming an electron-sharing circuit. Bilberry extract is important for protecting skin elasticity, the elasticity of capillaries in the dermis, and inhibiting the activation of enzymes in the skin that can degrade collagen and elastin.

Citrus bioflavonoids
